Jani-King Contributes to the Sports Facility of the Year

(5/20/10) New York, NY –Cowboys Stadium was honored
as the 2010 Sports Facility of the Year by the SportsBusiness Journal and
SportsBusiness Daily. The award was presented live at a special ceremony held
Thursday, May 20th at the New York Marriott Marquis at Times Square. Dallas
Cowboys owner & general manager Jerry Jones was named Sports Executive of
the Year.Unit franchisees from Jani-King of Dallas are responsible
for all cleaning services at the 3,000,000 square foot stadium. Jani-King was selected to be the sole
provider of cleaning services at Cowboys Stadium when the facility opened in
2009 and is contracted to service all
areas including suites, common areas, walkways, club areas, kitchens,
merchandise shops, parking lots and restrooms.
Cowboys Stadium was chosen from four
nominees for Sports Facility of the Year, including, in alphabetical order,
Citi Field in Flushing, N.Y.; Staples Center in Los Angeles; and Yankee Stadium
in Bronx, N.Y.

its $40 million center-hung scoreboard, and a versatile event mix, Cowboys
Stadium has raised the bar for facilities around the world and became one of
the most talked about stories of the year.
