Jani-King Celebrates 40 Years of Success
Jani-King, a leader in the
commercial cleaning industry, marked the company’s 40th
anniversary on Saturday night at its Annual Convention and
Banquet. Former President George H.W. Bush attended the event and
addressed the audience of nearly 400 before presenting a special
gift to Jim Cavanaugh, founder and CEO of Jani-King. President
Bush spoke of the impact that small business and franchising can
have to help drive the economy forward.
Over the past 40 years,
Jani-King has achieved numerous successes and built relationships
with many of the world’s most trusted organizations.
Entrepreneur magazine has rated Jani-King the #1 Commercial
Cleaning Franchise 22 times. The publication also ranks Jani-King
as the #1 Homebased Franchise for 2009 and one of the top-10 Best
Performing Franchises of all-time. Jani-King’s client list
has been just as impressive over the years including the 2002
Winter Olympic Games.
Jani-King is one of the world’s most
inspiring companies and truly represents the entrepreneurial
spirit. With enormous dedication and passion, Jim Cavanaugh was
the first to transform the franchise concept to fit the
commercial cleaning industry. His belief that a business owner
would perform to higher standards and deliver better service to
the customer forever changed the cleaning industry.
Jani-King remains the leader in the industry with more
franchisees in more countries than any other commercial cleaning
franchise. Jani-King also leads the industry in the research and
development of specialized cleaning markets including healthcare,
hospitality and educational facilities as well as stadiums and
event facilities. In addition, Jani-King creates customized
cleaning programs for their clients that incorporate best
practices for Green Cleaning and the use of the latest technology
to reduce labor and chemicals, saving their clients money and
leaving less of a footprint on our environment.
