Staff and franchisees from Jani-King of Rhode Island contribute money each Christmas to buy toys for kids in need. According to Gordon Hoover, the boxes overflowed with toys thanks to everyone’s contributions. Pictured to the right is Wendy Hoover and a local Marine participating in the Toys for Tots campaign.
Each year Jani-King of Indianapolis supports a winter wonderland Christmas party for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. By helping to set up for the event and providing all of the cleaning at no cost, Jani-King of Indianapolis makes it a great day for this special customer and their guests.
Master Franchisee Greg Lard hosted an annual toy drive at his home before the holidays. Friends, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, representatives from several news outlets, local business owners and other invited guests helped to make this year’s event the best yet!
Thanks to the generous donations from Jani-King of Columbia staff and franchisees, much needed food and other necessities were donated to the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.
In another example of the true giving spirit of the holidays, the Jani-King Gulf Coast regional office donated gifts to ‘Toys-For-Tots’ – a wonderful organization benefiting so many children.
Each year the Milwaukee office supports the Shop With a Cop event, where inner city, under privileged children are matched with a local police deputy/officer. The kids are treated to a big breakfast at a local hotel and then taken by police escorted busses to Walmart so they can shop for Christmas gifts for their family. Each child receives $100.00 to use. Over the past seven years, Jani-King of Milwaukee has helped nearly 500 children and their families through the program.
