The Jani-King Gulf Coast assisted today with preparing over 18,000 meals for the flood victims and first responders with the Operation BBQ Relief teams in Hammond, LA.
Operation BBQ Relief is a disaster response team made up of competition BBQ teams and volunteers. It was founded in May, 2011 in response to a need for relief efforts in tornado-stricken Joplin, Missouri.
Operation BBQ Relief is made up of over 3,500 volunteers that have a passion to help people in their time of need after disasters strike.
