Away From a Life of Crime

(4/19/10) Addison, TX – Jani-King spokesman and PGA TOUR professional Chad Campbell,
along with his wife
Amy, launched
a
dynamic new program to help 50 juvenile offenders in Tarrant County,
TX avoid a future life of crime was unveiled today.  The U-Turn program will provide juvenile
offenders and their families with a comprehensive program to help turn their
lives around.

Campbell initiated the program
which will officially launch May 1, 2010, at the Lynn W. Ross Juvenile Center
in Fort Worth. The Chad and Amy Campbell Project is a partnership with the
Heart of a Champion Foundation.

“The U-Turn program is going
to make a huge impact on the lives of so many of these teenagers,” said
Chad Campbell. “What a great opportunity for them to turn their lives
around.” “Chad and I are so excited that the U-Turn program is becoming
a reality,” said Amy Campbell. “This idea has been a part of our
heart for many years.”

The U-Turn program will also
provide training for the parents or caregivers of the participating students. A
total of 50 teens and their families will be targeted with the launch of the
program, with expansion to additional youth planned.

Each teen will participate in an
intensive eight-week process to complete the program and receive a graduation
certificate. Programs will continue throughout the year with new students and
their families participating in eight-week sessions.

“Chad Campbell is a positive
role model and a great ambassador for the PGA TOUR,” said PGA TOUR
commissioner Tim Finchem. “I am delighted to see Chad and his wife Amy’s
involvement in bettering the lives of young men and women in their community
through the U-Turn program.” “The ability to bring a proven program
to Tarrant County and the willingness of Chad and Amy to fund this effort will
bring untold benefits to these teenagers and to the community as a whole,”
said Steve Riach, founder of Heart of a Champion.

“We are proud to support Chad and Amy on their
efforts to improve the lives of families in the Fort Worth community,” said
Robert Kindred, Director of Public Relations for Jani-King.  “One of the contributing factors to selecting
Chad as our spokesman several years ago was his strong, positive
character.  Chad is an outstanding person
and we are proud to be associated with both him and Amy through our
partnership.”
