I grew up on a farm outside of East Liverpool, Ohio and quickly learned about the importance of hard work and dedication. Running a farm is not an easy task, but I think it instilled the strong work ethic that I still pride myself in using today. I was raised in an atmosphere that allowed me to gain insight into how to run a business. My husband, Joe Carollo, brought me to Cleveland because he was born and raised here, and we were responsible for opening Jani-King of Cleveland’s Regional Office in 1991. We committed ourselves to this company because we believed in what we were doing, and that commitment is what led us to become the Master Franchise Owners’ in 2003.
When I’m not at the office, you might find me outdoors. I love nature, and I enjoy hiking in various parks across Ohio. I am also a strong believer in giving back to those in need, so I dedicate my spare time to volunteering in the community.
Working in the franchising industry is inspirational. Jani-King has not only made my dreams come true, but also the dreams of hundreds of Franchise Owners who have given our team a chance. I am proud to be a part of the NWBOC (National Women Business Owners Corporation), and encourage other women who want to start their own business to come talk to us. Jani-King is also a great fit for companies looking to partner with minority owned businesses, as we are a Franchising Family full of various genders, races, ethnicities, and religions.
