Set on a five acre property less than one mile from Disneyland, Dolphin’s Cove Resort is a Wyndham Timeshare and a big fish in the ocean of Los Angeles resorts and timeshare properties. It’s also the latest in a line of large hospitality accounts signed in California.
“Dolphins Cove came about from a referral from its sister property, Peacock Suites, which was signed back in 2013,” said Ian Anderson, Executive Director for Jani-King International. “I delivered the first proposal to Dolphins Cove in April of last year, but there was a lot of red tape we needed to get through. After getting approval from the Regional Vice President for this group we needed to gain the approval from the Vice President for Wyndham.”
While staying in contact with Wyndam and working through approvals on the full contract, Anderson and the Los Angeles region were able to get a deal done to take over the cleaning of the common areas.
According to Anderson, a lot of effort from a lot of people went into making this large account happen, but it couldn’t have been possible to first get off the ground without the hard work of Jani-King of Los Angeles franchisee Miguel Aguirre. Mr. Aguirre’s success at Peacock Suites and his close work with Anderson and the General Manager at Dolphins Cove is a terrific example of why every account is important and why building relationships is critical for new business growth.
Dolphins Cove Resort is a premier property in Anaheim that offers 136 one, two and three bedroom units that are complete with full kitchens. Jani-King’s contract with this prestigious timeshare property is for total turn-key housekeeping services which includes the franchise owner, Mr. Aguirre, overseeing the entire housekeeping department including everyone from the executive housekeeping manager to suite attendants, all housemen personnel, laundry operations and public space areas, plus inspectors and supervisors.
