Generally, common areas and high‑traffic zones should be cleaned daily, while individual offices and less frequently used spaces may be cleaned on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Individual offices and workstations will be dusted, wiped down, and sanitized. This includes cleaning desks, chairs, computer keyboards, monitors, telephones, and other surfaces. Trash bins will be emptied, and floors vacuumed or swept as needed.

Restrooms in an office building should be cleaned and maintained regularly. This includes cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, faucets, mirrors, counters, and floors. Restrooms should also be stocked with hand soap, paper towels or hand dryers, and toilet paper. Regular inspections should be conducted to ensure supplies are stocked, and any maintenance issues are addressed promptly.

High‑touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, elevator buttons, handrails, and shared equipment are cleaned and disinfected using approved disinfectants. They pay extra attention to these surfaces to minimize the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.

  • Empty all trash receptacles, replace liners, as needed, and remove trash to a collection point. (Client to furnish liners)
  • Clean and polish drinking fountain/water cooler.
  • Thoroughly dust all horizontal surfaces, including desktops, files, windowsills, chairs, tables, pictures and all manner of furnishings.
  • Damp wipe all horizontal surfaces to remove coffee rings and spillage, as needed.
  • Mop hard surface floors with a treated dust mop.
  • Damp wipe entryway and clean fingerprints from entrance glass.
  • Spot clean partition glass.
  • Vacuum carpeting. Jani-King will not be responsible for removal of staples from carpets.
  • Inspect and pick up, as needed, building entrance area.
  • Empty trash receptacles and wipe if needed.
  • Stock towels, tissue, and hand soap. (Client to furnish)
  • Empty sanitary napkin receptacles and wipe with a disinfectant.
  • Clean and polish mirrors.
  • Wipe towel cabinet covers.
  • Toilets and urinals to be cleaned and sanitized inside and outside. Polish bright work.
  • Toilet seats to be cleaned on both sides using a disinfectant.
  • Scour and sanitize all basins. Polish bright work.
  • Dust partitions, top of mirrors, and frames.
  • Remove splash marks from walls around basins.
  • Mop and rinse restroom floors with a disinfectant.
  • All trash receptacles are to be emptied and trash removed to a collection point.
