Filming of new
Jani-King commercials featuring NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback
Terry Bradshaw and NASCAR superstar Michael Waltrip wrapped up in
mid-February. The two spots were filmed at the TPC at Sawgrass in
Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and were produced by PGA TOUR Productions.
PGA TOUR Productions is the television, film and video production
company of the PGA TOUR. In addition to its popular weekly and
monthly shows, PGA TOUR Productions also creates network
specials, made-for-TV events, commercials, PSAs and
sales/marketing videos.
One :30-sec spot features Bradshaw and
Waltrip discussing who is going to clean up on the PGA TOUR in
2006. As Waltrip begins to list his picks, Bradshaw cuts him off
and exclaims that Jani-King is the one who is cleaning up on the
TOUR this year. The spot ends with Bradshaw shanking his shot
into the water while Waltrip winces and say’s
“Jani-King’s the only one that can clean up that
mess.”
The second spot features Bradshaw as a Jani-King
Franchise Owner. As he and his crew make their way around the
golf course and clubhouse, Bradshaw hams it up with white glove
inspections of the work his employees are performing. Bradshaw
even goes as far as cleaning one golfers eyeglasses as he
prepares for his shot. It’s all thumbs up for Jani-King as
the official cleaning company of the PGA TOUR.
The new television
commercials will air nationally during golf related programming
as part of a six-figure media package purchased through
Jani-King’s partnership with the PGA TOUR.
