Jani-King of Milwaukee presented the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Wisconsin with a $1,000 check to support a Hispanic scholarship fund set up by Jon McAlpine, owner of Jani-King of Milwaukee. Jani-King, the world’s largest commercial cleaning franchise company, has more than 11,000 franchise owners who are supported by local, regional offices such as Jani-King of Milwaukee.
The recipient of the 2005 Jani-King Scholarship is Mireya Casarrubius. Mireya’s award winning application was selected from a field of 25 local applicants.
“Unquestionably, Mireya’s academic distinction is indicative of her hard work and determination to be the best,” wrote Maria Monreal-Cameron, President/CEO Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Wisconsin.
In addition to the $1,000 scholarship, Jani-King of Milwaukee will offer one free Jani-King franchise to a local Hispanic family that has also displayed hard work and dedication toward improving their lives. The franchise offer will include Jani-King’s complete 12-day training program, ongoing support and ongoing training for the life of the franchise agreement. McAlpine is working with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Wisconsin to develop a selection process for the complimentary franchise.
