Jani-King cleaned up in
several categories of the coveted Franchise Times 200 list. The
top-200 list, billed as the “gold standard in
franchising,” ranks the top franchise systems according to
sales and number of units. Jani-King’s highest ranking was
awarded for the number of domestic franchised units.
Jani-King
ranked fifth behind other franchise giants Subway,
McDonald’s, H&R Block, and Burger King. The list also
recognized Jani-King, The King of Clean, with the number nine
spot for total worldwide units and the number 14 slot in total
foreign units.
Jani-King finished inside the top-15 in three out
of four categories among all franchise companies. In the fourth
category, worldwide sales revenue, Jani-King finished 123rd –
revenue totals which are impressive considering Jani-King’s
low-cost investment opportunity. According to Franchise Times,
the top 200 franchise systems generated 325.5 billion in
systemwide sales in 2002, an increase of 2.6 percent from
2001.
